Corporate Responsibility and Anti-Corruption
Its main task is to encourage self-regulation by business in confronting issues of extortion and bribery, and seek to influence international organizations that have developed international conventions to fight corruption.

Banking Technique and Practice
Banks throughout the world benefit from ICC rules for international banking and trade finance, in particular regarding the use of documentary credits, demand guarantees and other trading instruments.

Competition
Experts on competition law, including legal advisers from industrial and commercial enterprises and lawyers in private practice, serve on the commission. It works closely with intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations involved in competition law and policy.

Environment and Energy
Develops and promotes world business positions on major policy issues in the field of energy, environment and sustainable development, focussed on the intergovernmental agenda.

It believes that the protection of intellectual property stimulates international trade and exchanges of goods and services, creates a favorable climate for foreign direct investment, and encourages transfers of technology and inventions.

The commission brings together international tax experts from all sectors of business and private practice, representing the world's foremost companies and tax consultancy firms.

Trade and Investment Policy
Open world trade and investment are fundamental ICC objectives. ICC always strongly supported the GATT and continues to give the same backing to the WTO. ICC mobilized world business to make a major contribution to the eight successive rounds of multilateral negotiations held under GATT auspices to reduce trade barriers.

Arbitration
The Bulletin of the International Court of Arbitration has published reports adopted by the commission on the Terms of Reference, partial and interim awards, dissenting opinions, the adaptation of contracts and multiparty arbitration.

Commercial Law and Practice
The commission prepares standard terms, rules, guidelines and model contracts to facilitate international trade and works closely with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law and other international organizations.

Corporate Economists Advisory Group
The commission analyses major international economic issues and present recommendations to the ICC Presidency. Contribute economic analysis to ICC´s ongoing policy work on globalization from a world business perspective. Give advice on annual ICC statement to the G8 Summit.

E-Business, IT and Telecoms
ICC provides the ideal platform to develop global voluntary rules and best practices for these areas. Dedicated to the expansion of cross-border trade, ICC champions liberalization of telecoms and development of infrastructures that support global online trade.

Financial Services and Insurance
The ICC Commission is a global non-sectorally based financial services body, and therefore looks at the full spectrum of financial services and insurance policy issues. It aims to break down barriers to international business in the financial services sector, and to contribute to the elaboration of sound self-regulatory and supervisory frameworks.

Marketing and Advertising
ICC's international marketing codes promote high standards of business conduct through self-regulation and are drafted by this commission. The commission also elaborates world business views on government initiatives affecting marketing and consumer protection.
